FAQ
2024 UPDATE
As of November 2021 I stopped accepting new clients. As much as I enjoy meeting new people, it was important that my availability be dedicated and available to my existing clientele only. If openings do become available to new clients, I will share it to my Instagram page: @bychrissycole
CANCELATION POLICY
As a courtesy I kindly ask that you provide 48-hour notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Three or more missed, or last minute cancelations will require the guests credit card information to be permanently placed on file to secure all future appointments and the following will apply: a cancelation within 24 hour notice will result in a 50% charge of all services scheduled. If cancelling or no showing the day of appointment, 100% of the booked services will be charged. If this is a continued occurrence I will be happy to refer you to someone that has more of a flexible schedule to better suit your needs.
Late guests
Accommodating late guests is often impossible without disrupting every other following guest’s schedule. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment it cannot be guaranteed that your service will be performed and may result in a cancelation fee.
COLOR CLIENT CONSULTATIONS
For first time clients that are interested in seeing me for color, I do require a consultation prior to actually scheduling your color appointment. I recognize that this is a different approach and to some might seem like an inconvenience but please hear me out on it.
This is your hair. Getting a chemical service. Anytime anyone is working with chemicals it’s a good idea to have a conversation… What is your hair story? Is your hair goal feasible in one appointment or is it going to take a few appointments? Are you getting married the end of year and we need to come up with game plan to make sure your hair looks exactly as you dreamed. Have you been coloring your hair at home and it needs some professional attention now? These are things that should be discussed and needs more than 5 minute conversation prior to me running to my color room… I consider what I do to be a form of art, and therefore treat as just that!
I have chosen to sit down with you and not only discuss your hair and it’s history, but who you are. Is what you have now, presenting the best version of yourself? Or could I come up with something that not only fits you better, but also your lifestyle. If you’re only planning on getting your hair done every 6 months, we need to approach your color accordingly.
I also do this because I want to get to know you first and to see if I am the right person for you and your hair. I am not for everyone, and that’s okay. I also like to do this because I want to have some time to think about you, and come up with a recipe of care for your hair. I know that this is extra time added to your schedule but I have found it extremely beneficial to do this for my color clients prior to their service. To reserve a time it is $20 fee that is put towards your future color appointment.
special occasion
For special occasion appointment, it is asked that you arrive with completely clean, dry hair. If you arrive with wet hair an additional fee up to a full blow-out cost will be added to your ticket.
