Where are you from? I’ve lived most my life in Nebraska, moving here from Chico California.

How did you get into hair? My Mom was a stylist and managed a salon when I was little. I grew up in the field and starting playing with color when I was 13 years old. I have a couple friends that I’ve done their hair for over 20 years!

Pets? I have two puppies… Georgine Birdette aka Georgie Bird, she’s black seal English Bulldog. And the baby of the family is my red bull boy, Rupert Valentine Le Beaux, also nicknamed Ru or Bubba. They are pretty dang cute if I do say so myself.

Favorite Service you provide? Thats a tricky one for me. I really love editorial work for fashion shows and photoshoots. But in the salon I really enjoy highlights, I have a lot of blond clients, and since I’ve never been a blond it’s fun for me to find ways to adjust their highlights every time I see them. I also love haircutting and razor cuts are one of my specialties. Oh and extensions! I love extensions, see it’s too hard to choose!

Coffee Order? I’m going to be honest, I’ve worked in specialty coffee for awhile, and I’m picky. I love quality espresso! So I’m happy with a traditional breve cappuccino. But if I’ve got to do a Starbuck run, soy matcha is pretty good, or a tall white mocha blonde roast breve.

Favorite Place to Travel? I’m a Europe girl, I love Spain, Italy and Scotland. But I can never get enough of California.

Favorite Hair Product? It’s impossible for me to choose, but being that I have vivid hair color, I’m passionate about a good co-wash and dry shampoo! Game changing combo for vivid color.

Hair tip that people are always surprised by?

Using dry shampoo on freshly clean hair! It absorbs the oils as they come in vs trying to remove it when it’s already there, works great.
